  • General Office

    The General Office is the comprehensive management department of WFCMS, which is responsible for HR management, party affairs,  unions and the Communist Youth League , administration, logistics and other aspects.

    Main Responsibilities:
    (1) the management and comprehensive coordination of personnel, administration, logistics, archives, external publicity, etc.; 
    (2) to carry out the daily work of the Party branch construction and the ideological and political education management of Party members, and to carry out mass group work;
    (3) responsible for the formulation and implementation of various rules and regulations;
    (4) responsible for sending and receiving official documents, document review, comprehensive document drafting, etc.;
    (5e) responsible for seal management, file management, fixed assets management, vehicle management;
    (6) responsible for safety, hygiene, fire control, confidentiality and family planning work;
    (7) responsible for the liaison work with higher-level units and relevant institutions, and responsible for the reception of visits;
    (8) responsible for organizing and coordinating important meetings and large-scale activities of the Secretariat;
    (9) Be responsible for the education and training, assessment, appointment and dismissal, promotion, salary, welfare, rewards and punishments, recruitment and other personnel work of employees;
    (10) to supervise and inspect the implementation of major decisions and important matters of the Secretariat;
    (11) responsible for the organization and implementation of the "International Contribution Award of Traditional Chinese Medicine" application, evaluation and awards conference.

  • Finance Department

    The Finance Department is the functional department of the WFCMS engaged in financial management, responsible for accounting, fund management, tax accounting, financial audit and other work.
    Main Responsibilities:
    (1) To implement the relevant national financial and tax laws and policies, and to implement the national accounting standards and relevant accounting systems;
    (2) To be responsible for organizing the formulation and implementation of the financial management system of the Association, standardizing the financial business accounting of the Association, truthfully reflecting the business and financial situation of the Association, and providing reliable basis for the business decision-making and financial management of the Association;
    (3) Be responsible for establishing and perfecting the accounting system, and establishing accounting subjects, subsidiary ledgers, general ledgers, auxiliary accounts, etc. that conform to the civil non-accounting system;
    (4) Be responsible for preparing financial statements on the operation and management of the Association;
    (5) Responsible for the daily tax accounting and tax declaration work;
    (6) Be responsible for the fund management of the Association and improve the efficiency of the use of funds;
    (7) To be responsible for the financial management and financial accounting of the branches of the association;
    (8) To be responsible for the financial, tax accounting and accounting supervision of the secondary units under the WFCMS.

  • Academic Department

    The Academic Department takes various professional (working) committees as the starting point, builds a platform for academic exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign Chinese medicine experts, and leads the academic development of Chinese medicine.
    Main Responsibilities:
    (1) Responsible for the examination and approval of the specialty committee, as well as the establishment, change and adjustment of the work;
    (2) Responsible for coordinating the annual academic activities, guiding and managing the organizational construction and academic exchanges of various professional committees;
    (3) Be responsible for the assessment and evaluation of the principal responsible persons (president and secretary general) of branches, and regularly carry out the selection of outstanding branches;
    (4) Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the member management system, and serve and manage all members;
    (5) Planning and organizing academic conferences, grasping the academic commanding heights, and leading the academic development of Chinese medicine;
    (6) To be responsible for the docking contact with the World Health Organization (WHO) and provide suggestions and consultations for it;
    (7) To provide planning services for local governments, Chinese medicine related units and academic organizations;
    (8) To cooperate with the completion of other tasks assigned by the Secretariat.

  • International Liaison Department

    The International Liaison Department (Office of the World Congress of Chinese Medicine and "the belt and road initiative" Office) follows the purpose and articles of the WFCMS, takes serving its members as its own responsibility, and makes contributions to promoting international exchanges of traditional Chinese medicine.
    Main Responsibilities:
    (1) Be responsible for maintaining working contact with members of units, the Board of Directors and the Board of Supervisors, the Senior Expert Advisory Committee and the Work Advisory Committee, and providing corresponding services for them;
    (2) responsible for preparing and organizing the Council meeting, executive Council meeting, chairman meeting and member congress;
    (3) Responsible for the preparation and organizing of the World Conference of Chinese Medicine;
    (4) Responsible for the preparation and holding of regional conferences;
    (5) Carry out exchanges and contacts with international organizations such as UNESCO and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs;
    (6) To establish and  manage the branches on industry development to serve the construction of Chinese medicine industry chain;
    (7) To organize the "World Chinese Medicine Day" activities;
    (8) To undertake various research items of the government and related organizations;
    (9) Complete other tasks assigned by the Secretariat.

  • International Standards Department

    The International Standards Department is the functional department of WFCMS, which is responsible for the standardization construction and management of WFCMS. Its main responsibilities are as follows:
    (1)Draw up a standard development plan;
    (2)Research on organizational standards;
    (3)Organize the formulation and revision of standards;
    (4)Organize the translation and publication of standards;
    (5)Promote the implementation of standards;
    (6)  Management standardization expert database;
    (7)  Establish and manage professional and technical standards validation committees and standards validation expert groups;
    (8)Organize standardization related training;
    (9)Participate in the activities of the Technical Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC 249), regularly declare standard proposals, register experts, and participate in various meetings;
    (10)Provide standardized related services for member groups, local governments, Chinese medicine research units and organizations;
    (11)Complete other tasks assigned by the Secretariat.

  • International Vocational Qualification (Level) Certification Center

    The International Professional Qualification Certification Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a permanent evaluation department of the international professional and technical level of traditional Chinese medicine of the WFCMS, and a professional team that carries out the examination and evaluation of the level of international professional and technical personnel of traditional Chinese medicine under the framework of the international talent standard system of traditional Chinese medicine.
    Work Responsibilities:
    (a) Responsible for the formulation and release of international Chinese medicine professional title level examination and evaluation of relevant standards.
    (b) Responsible for the formulation and release of the international Chinese medicine professional title level examination and evaluation implementation plan.
    (c) Responsible for the organization and implementation of the international Chinese medicine professional and technical level examination and senior professional title evaluation.
    (d) Responsible for organizing relevant experts to examine questions and conduct relevant research.
    (e) the International Committee for the Evaluation of Professional Titles of Traditional Chinese Medicine is responsible for reviewing the examination and evaluation results and approving the issuance of certificates.

  • Human Resource Development Department

    The Human Resources Development Department is the functional department of the WFCMS responsible for the training, evaluation and management of talents in the related fields of Chinese medicine (international), and participates in the research, formulation, release, promotion and implementation of strategies, standards, systems, projects and programs related to the development of Chinese medicine human resources.
    (1)Responsible for formulating the international talent training plan of Chinese medicine and implementing the management measures of training services of the World Union;
    (2)Responsible for the declaration, implementation and credit management of national first-class and second-class continuing education projects;
    (3)Responsible for the training and assessment of professional and technical personnel and skilled personnel of traditional Chinese medicine;
    (4)Responsible for the training and assessment of international teachers of Chinese medicine;
    (5)Responsible for the training and promotion of new theories, technologies and methods of traditional Chinese medicine;
    (6)Responsible for sending Chinese medicine experts to carry out medical, teaching, scientific research and popular science cultural exchange activities around the world;

    The Department  of Service Trade Promotion is under the Secretariat of the WFCMS, which is responsible for studying the policies, regulations and providing advice on international service trade of Chinese medicine at home and abroad; Organize and hold Chinese medicine service trade exhibition, investment negotiation, promotion and publicity, cultural communication and event organization; Provide international technical training for Chinese medicine practitioners and exchange of talents; Provide international TCM medical treatment, education, scientific research institutions set up planning, management, evaluation and certification; Carry out Chinese medicine health tourism, precision medical tourism, medical treatment in China, remote consultation of Chinese medicine experts, etc. World WFCMS Science and Technology Information Service (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of WFCMS, relies on our department to carry out its main work.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for the daily work of National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine International Cooperation Project "Chinese-French Traditional Chinese Medicine Center (Senna)";
    2. Responsible for tracking and studying the policies and regulations related to Chinese medicine service trade focusing on international Chinese medicine health tourism;
    3. Responsible for promoting the service and brand building of the World Zhonglian International Chinese Medicine Health Tourism Base;

    The Information Center is responsible for the information construction, network management and service, new media management and operation, and news information release of the WFCMS.     The Science and Technology Management Department undertakes the management of Chinese medicine research projects of governments at all levels; Responsible for the daily management of scientific research projects of each branch; Responsible for the preparation and organization of the World Conference on Science and Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the same time, carry out research on the inheritance of famous and old Chinese medicine

    The Evaluation Center is an internal department of the Secretariat of the World Union, which takes the evaluation service of Chinese medicine science and technology as its main business direction.
    Main Responsibilities:
    (1) Carry out professional and standardized third-party achievement evaluation, institutional evaluation and project evaluation according to the management decision-making needs such as achievement transformation transaction, popularization and application, and industry access.
    (2) Based on the latest international progress and daily work practice of science and technology evaluation, we will actively carry out research on policies, norms and technical methods of science and technology evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine, and provide consultation and suggestions for relevant administrative departments.
    (3)Organize the implementation of Chinese Medicine Research Ethics Review System (CAP) certification, and undertake related work such as the Secretariat of the World Union Ethics Review Committee and the Beijing Chinese Medicine Research Ethics Committee.

    The Clinical Evidence-based Research Guidance Center is responsible for the project design, evidence production, evidence management and screening, evidence evaluation and evidence release of clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine.
    Job Responsibilities:
    (a) Responsible for the screening, evaluation, recommendation and release of clinical evidence of traditional Chinese medicine.
    Evidence screening: screening, processing and evaluating the clinical research evidence of different diseases;
    Product screening: Guided by international export, international standards, expert consensus, improvement of instructions and evidence release, screen Chinese medicine technologies and products supported by excellent evidence and promote them internationally;
    Evidence evaluation: conduct independent, objective and personalized third-party comprehensive evaluation on the scientific/advanced/technical value of evidence and the safety/effectiveness/economy/suitability/innovation/product value of products;

    World Traditional Chinese Medicine Magazine is an independent legal entity under the management of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, It is also an internal department of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and is responsible for editing and publishing 10 series of overseas editions of World Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Chinese Version), World Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine (English Journal), World Journal of Sleep Medicine and World Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The World Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine is headed by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and sponsored by the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Societies.

    Be responsible for all kinds of business declarations of WFCMS series magazines in the world, and audit and approve the academic activities and training carried out by series magazines;
    Undertake other duties related to periodical work entrusted by WFCMS.
