Li Yu was born in January 1963 in Yantai City, Shandong Province. He graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987 with a major in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have worked successively at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, serving as the Director of the Second Department of the Medical Administration Department, the Director of the Policy and Regulation Supervision Department, the Director of the Secretariat of the Bureau Office, the Director of the Policy and Regulation and Supervision Department, and the Director of the Science and Technology Department of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
